Whats up gamers? Today I found something on the internet that I thought was kind of interesting. As gamers we are able to identify games by the gaming companies that designed them, but can you guys identify these companies based on their logo? Below is a link to a website that asks you to identify 10 different gaming logos so try it out. Oh don't worry because it's multiple choice. I tried it out and let's just say I will not be revealing my score ha ha.

The Return of Grove Street
Just like it was promised, Rockstar Games has released Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas on the Playstation Store. Now people like me can run around the state of San Andreas and cause more havoc like we used to do when the game was first released. For those who don't know, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas was a game released by Rockstar back in 2004 based around the cyber version of California. In the game you get to play the character Carl CJ Johnson, in which you have to help your gang "Orange Grove Families" return to the respectable crew they once were while dealing with enemy gangs, crooked cops, crazy girlfriends & hippies. The game allows you to do so many things that it would take me forever to break down all of them. If you're more of a Xbox player than a PS3 player then don't panic. Rockstar has also released the game on Xbox Live Marketplace. The game only costs $14 and will have fans more excited with the upcoming release of Grand Theft Auto 5. Thanks Rockstar for allowing us to relive old memories.

Sleeping Dogs DLC
For all you Sleeping Dogs fans out there, United Front Games has just dropped their new downloadable content pack entitled "Gangland Style".
With this pack, the main character, Wei Shen, can now take on the Triads gang while looking like more of a gangster himself. Wei Shen can now be covered in gang tattoos from one of these criminal organizations. Not only do they add style, but they each have their own bonuses.
Japanese Yakuza: With this tattoo style, the amount of heat you get will slow down by 50%
Russian Mob: With this style, your gun accuracy will increase by 50%
Mongrel Tribe: With this style, your melee damage will increase by 40%

Grand Theft Auto 5
Whenever somebody asks me about my favorite gaming company, I always
tell them it's Rockstar Games. I think I've played almost every game
made by Rockstar and all of them seem to be on point. As all video
gamers know, Grand Theft Auto has been this companies bread and butter
when it comes to making money. So far they've given us GTA: 3, GTA:
Vice City, GTA: Liberty City Stories, GTA: San Andreas, GTA: Vice City
Stories, GTA: IV and GTA:IV Episodes of Liberty City. Well guess what,
Rockstar Games is finally releasing information on the new installment
of Grand Theft Auto entitled GTA:V. Check out the two official trailers
below. Warning: These trailers might make you go crazy
Trailer #1 was released by Rockstar on November 2,2011
Trailer #2 was released last week on November 14th
This time around Rockstar has decided to introduce three playable characters. Michael
is a 40 year old retired bank robber who has to get back into the game
because his wife has run through his fortune. It is also said that he's
in the witness protection program. The second character is Trevor, a
"drugged out psychopath who has a history in criminal activity and
loves violence. He is said to be Michaels friend. The last of the three
is a repo man known as Franklin. He's described as the young and capable one of the group.
One amazing detail that has been mentioned is that the game will be only based in Los Santos (fictional version of Los Angeles. It is said that the map will be bigger than Red Dead Redemption, Grand Theft Auto IV and Grand Theft Auto San Andreas combined! If you played those games like I did then you would know that all three of those games had really huge maps so one can only imagine how big this one will be.
It is also said that there will be appearances by characters from both Grand Theft Auto IV and Episodes of Liberty City, but none of the major characters.

War Z Survial Tips
Tip #1: Avoid using the flash light
As most players know, one of the first items you get when you first start the game is a flash light. The flash light can be used as both a melee weapon and a item to help players see better when it starts getting dark. The bad thing about this item is that it will quickly give away your location since the light is very bright and can not be turned off. Players should quickly look for a different weapon to replace this item such as a hammer, bat or gun.
Tip #2: Dehydration and Starvation
With this game, the developers wanted to make sure it was realistic as possible so they implemented two meters: the dehydration meter and the starvation meter, both which are white: After a certain amount of time in the game, both meters will start to slowly go down as your character will begin to get hungry and thirsty. It's up to the players to find different types of items that can help refill both meters. Once one of the meters is completely empty it will start flashing red. If these meters do not get refilled the characters will start to lose health so make sure you eat and drink whenever you can.
Tip #3: There is strength in numbers
Are you a player that likes to roam around and pretend you're Chuck Norris just taking out everybody one at a time with your flashy moves? Well I must tell you that this is WarZ!! Being a lone wolf is only going to get you killed! In this game, you will have to continually watch your back as zombies and enemy players are always after you. With that being said, implement a buddy system. The right amount of people on your team can give you an advantage when it comes to looking for food, weapons, and taking out enemy targets. Think of it as a military unit.
Tip #4: The Safe Zone
Sooner or later players will have to take a break from WarZ which means logging out of the game. Now players have the option to log out whenever and wherever they please, but I recommend that you log out once you have reached the safe zone. There are multiple safe zones on the map and all of them are circled with a red marker. Once inside the safe zone none of the characters can be damaged by another character or zombies. These safe zones also will give the players an opportunity to distribute all of the items they've found into their global inventory.
Tip #5: Global Inventory
The Global inventory is where players can store all of the items they've found once they've managed to get inside the safe zone. Use this once you've gathered a lot of items that you can't use. Putting those items in the global inventory will insure that you have weapons and food to use if you have to create a new character or if you get killed and lose all your current gear.
Tip #6: Pay Attention To Chat
When players hop into a server they will notice a small rectangular box towards the left of their screen. This is the chat box. So far there are two types of chat, global (blue) and proximity (green). Make sure you pay attention to what other players are typing especially if it's label proximity. This can help you avoid any confrontations.
Tip #7: Don't Trust Everybody
One of the strategic points in the game is the players ability to trick others into thinking they're friendly players. Simply put, if you don't know them then don't trust them. They might just be waiting for the right opportunity to kill you.
Tip #8: Looting On Low Servers
The best advantage a player has when trying to look for items and keeping them is to avoid the servers with a lot of people. The lower number of players on a server means the higher chance for survival.
War Z: A new zombie experience
What's up guys. One thing that seems to have been catching the eye of
many video gamers lately is games that implement some sort of zombie
mode. Well I'm here to tell you about a game that is taking zombie games
to a new level titled WarZ.
According to developers, the background story for WarZ is that "It's been five years since the outbreak; leaving in its wake a post-apocalyptic nightmare with ninety-five percent of the human population gone. In order to stay alive, you will need food, weapons, and other supplies. Some of you will be able to scavenge as you navigate the terrain, others will be forced to fight for survival as you encounter zombies and other players. Every decision will have an impact on whether you live or how quickly you die."
Now I've had the opportunity to play this game and I must say that it has been a nice experience. From the beginning players get to choose between 1 of 5 characters (2 men 1 woman and 2 that have to be purchased) and jump into any of the servers they want to start their adventure. Being that it's a survival game, each player starts off with only a few items (flashlight, band aids, and something to eat) and their goal is to go into different areas to scavenge weapons, gear and food to help keep them alive while battling against numerous amounts of zombies that want to eat them and other players that want to take their items.
On my first attempt at playing the game, I was quickly killed by another player that decided to beat me with his flashlight. I guess that was my "friendly" welcome to the game.
Now it should be noted that this game is still in it's Alpha stage, but even with that the game is very exciting so players can only imagine the amount of fun WarZ will be once the full game is released. Not only is it fun, but the game only costs $30 ($25 if you take advantage of the limited time offer).
