MVSU Student Talent Review

Thats right people, this past week was Mississippi Valley State Universities Homecoming so you know there was a lot of events to cover. Fortunately I had a chance to check out the Student Talent Review. People started rushing in soon as the doors open to find a seat next to there friends and family. The host of the night was comedian/actor C' Dog. He had the crowd hype from beginning to end with the jokes he made. I feel sorry for those people in the crowd that got clowned on. Moving to the main part of the show, there was eleven acts lined up for the night. Each talent ranged from rap music to r&b music. The acts are as follows:
1: T.K
2: Charles Stanton
3: Cordero Ross
4: Paul Mason/ Wayne Winford
5: Blake Young
6: Seven
7: LP/ Trinity
8: Stew
9: Timothy Wilkes/ Neffie
10: N/A
11: N/A
Some of these acts did a very good job, but I cant say the same for others. I even had a few members in the crowd tell me to take some people off of my review, but I will not say anything else about that.

The winners of the Student Talent review and prizes are:
1: Tim/Neffie - $500
2: LP/Trinity - $300
3: Paul Mason- $200

After the talent review was over the host decided to call all of the Fraternities to the front and show off a few strolls. The participants where Alpha Phi Alpha, Phi Beta Sigma, Omega Psi Phi, and Kappa Alpha Psi. Unfortunately my fraternity Iota Phi Theta didnt get a chance to stroll since I was the only member in attendance. The closing act of the night was a comedian by the name of Corey. Some people may know him from his appearances on Nick Cannons Wildin Out show from MTV. From the crowds reaction he did an ok, but most people wasn't feeling his jokes.
Pictures coming soon
